  • Q: How should I store Baked by Melissa cupcakes?
  • A: We recommend ordering Packs, which keep our cupcakes safe and fresh! Our cupcakes stay fresh for up to 2 weeks when frozen in our Packs, or in our Pastry Boxes with plastic wrap. Either way, take your order out of the freezer 20-30 minutes prior to serving to defrost. Click here to see an image of a 25 Pack>
  • Q: What if I don’t have a freezer?
  • A: Our first recommendation for storing is a freezer, but a refrigerator or well air-conditioned space works too. If you ordered/received Pastry Boxes, keep the boxes plastic-wrapped!

  • Q: How long will Baked by Melissa products stay fresh for when shipped?
  • A: We guarantee our products will arrive safe and fresh when shipped! Our Shipping Packaging keeps our products fresh for up to 4 days, and our products stay fresh for up to 2 weeks when frozen.
  • Q: Can I travel with my order?
  • A: We have a special packaging option called a Pack, which we highly recommend for transportation of all types. Packs are clear plastic containers that keep our cupcakes safe and fresh by holding each cupcake in its own individual bubble. Packs hold 1, 3, and/or 25 cupcakes.   • Q: How long does In Chocolate stay fresh for?
  • A: In Chocolate stays fresh for up to one week when the box is kept plastic-wrapped and frozen, or up to three days in a refrigerator or well air-conditioned room.
