ritz cracker desserts

RITZ crackers are an all-American classic. I keep them in the house constantly, and not just because they’re favorites of my kids. RITZ are delicious and versatile, and they add a perfect mix of buttery and saltiness that complements pretty much any dish (or dessert) you’re including them in.

Whether I’m breaking out a cheese board with my friends or making a late-night snack for the girls, there’s a ton you can do with RITZ crackers. You also don’t have to limit yourself; technically, you can use any cracker, like Saltines or almond flour crackers for a gluten-free take (p.s. Check out our list of gluten-free cupcake flavors!)

Best of all, it will only take a few minutes to throw together a cookie sandwich using RITZ Crackers.

Green Goddess Salad Recipe

I made this Green Goddess Salad last summer for my girlfriends and it knocked us all off our feet. It is a vegan pesto dressing with all the green veggies you have on hand. Feel free to improvise anywhere you see fit! Nuts, greens and oil in the dressing can be subbed out for other varieties you have on hand, and you can do that for the veggies in the salad as well. Go wild!

This salad stays delicious in the refrigerator for up to a week! It tastes great alone, but my favorite is to eat it with chips like salsa. You can also use it on sandwiches or tacos.

How to Make Dark Chocolate-Dipped RITZ Crackers

This RITZ and dark chocolate combo is heavenly and super easy. It makes a fun dessert in minutes, whether it’s just for you and the kids or you’re having company.

  1. Melt a cup of dark chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double broiler. (You can pretty much use any chocolate chip variety of your choice — whether that’s milk or white chocolate, up to you!)
  2. Add a tablespoon or two of coconut oil to the melted chocolate. The coconut oil will help give the chocolate its dippable consistency and beautiful tempered shine.
  3. Dunk a RITZ cracker into the melted chocolate with a fork.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  5. Repeat until you have as many Chocolate-Dipped RITZ Cookies as your heart desires.

How to Make Peanut Butter RITZ Cracker Sandwiches

Peanut butter and RITZ go together like...well, you know. They’re kinda a soulmate pairing. You can also use almond butter or any type of nut butter alternative you prefer. I like the way the sweetness of almond butter contrasts with the buttery-ness of the RITZ cracker.

Or, you can experiment with cookie butter, anything from chocolate chip cookie dough butter to coconutty, chocolatey cookie dough butters. The options are endless.

  1. Simply spread an ample layer of the filling of your choice onto one side of the RITZ cracker.
  2. Press the two crackers together to sandwich them.
  3. Leave “naked” or dip in chocolate!
