Essential Responsibilities

  • Foster and manage a happy, passionate, customer-focused atmosphere
  • Hold team to Baked by Melissa standards
  • Ensure team is kept up-to-date on all policies, procedures, and promotions, supporting the General Manager in ensuring that information is appropriately communicated
  • Observe team and give active feedback on-the-spot
  • Roleplay with team each shift to improve customer service and selling standards
  • Maintain a clean store environment in both FOH and BOH
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Agriculture and Department of Health standards
  • Manage inventory daily, ensuring proper stock quantities of all product
  • Drive sales
  • Reconcile cash daily
  • Keep business trackers/overviews up-to-date daily
  • Dive into each day with a fresh set of eyes, constantly looking at the store from a new perspective to make things better
  • Ask questions
  • Make suggestions on all aspects of the business
