Customer Experience Specialist team members are expected to set the most positive example for their coworkers and help lead their team. They let their positivity shine in all that they do, supporting their team in making life sweeter with every interaction. Customer Experience Specialist team members take part in all aspects of the store - from ensuring the store vibes remain positive to giving others feedback on customer service, and assisting in daily inventory and packing pre-orders. Customer Experience Specialist team members are true leaders within the store and are the supervisor on duty when no manager is in the store.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in a happy, positive, genuine way all of the time
  • Maintain up-to-date and thorough understanding of all Baked by Melissa products and promotions offered
  • Ensure a high level of customer service, observing and giving feedback to the team as needed
  • Assist with back of house operations to maintain smooth-sailing order fulfillment
  • Execute Visual Merchandising Guide
  • Check store emails, responding to and relaying information with appropriate urgency
  • Escalate difficult questions and concerns to supervisors as needed
  • Maintain 100% accuracy when using the POS system and handling money
  • Complete opening and closing checklists, always seeking to set the next shift up for success
  • Take and submit inventory nightly
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2 years of retail and/or customer service management experience
  • Genuine passion for making people happy
  • Ability to smile all day long!
  • Excellent attention to detail
