I made egg salad a few weeks ago on TikTok and everyone gave me so many good suggestions on what to do for next time. I have to say, their suggestions were on point and the resulting egg salad came out even more delicious than the last time. I know egg salad isn’t the sexiest salad around, but trust me, this one isgood.

Ingredients
- 10 large brown eggs (they peel easier)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon German mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 1/4 lemon, juiced (about 1 teaspoon)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
Directions
Boil a large pot of water. Add the eggs to the boiled water and cook for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare an ice bath.
- When the eggs are finished cooking, place them in the ice bath for at least a minute to cool. Peel the eggs and rinse off any excess pieces of shell.
- Using two mixing bowls, separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.
- Mash together the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pickle juice, lemon juice, and water. It should form a loose paste.
- Cut the egg whites into bite-sized pieces and add them to the bowl with the yolk dressing.
- Add the chives and stir well to combine. Serve on your favorite bread and enjoy.
