This is one of my favorite slaws I’ve made recently. It’s so simple. All you need is a cabbage and a handful of pantry ingredients. It’s great in a wrap, to add to a taco, for a refreshing crunch on a sandwich or bowl, or just as a simple side. It’s packed with flavor and will be on repeat in my kitchen for months to come.

Ingredients
-
1 green cabbage
-
Juice of 1 lemon
-
2 tablespoons avocado oil
-
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
-
2 tablespoons white miso paste
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
2 tablespoons white vinegar
-
2 garlic cloves, grated
-
2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
Directions
Shred the cabbage with a mandoline or finely chop. Place in a large bowl.
Whisk the lemon juice, avocado oil, toasted sesame oil, miso paste, salt, black pepper, vinegar, and garlic together in a smaller bowl.
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and mix well to coat.
Add the sesame seeds and stir. Use the slaw as a condiment, in wraps and sandwiches, or for tacos.
