    • Delivery Orders

      A Delivery order is an order that is hand-delivered to a Manhattan address below 110th Street. We deliver seven days a week, even on National Holidays! Delivery orders have a $20 minimum. We'll send you an email when the order has been delivered!

      Placing a Delivery Order: When placing a Delivery Order at checkout, you will be prompted to choose a date and delivery window in which your order will arrive. Our delivery windows are 9-11 AM, 11 AM-1 PM, 1-3 PM, 3-5PM, 5-7PM and 7-9PM. (see table below). Same Day Delivery orders must be placed before the start of your desired delivery window.

      We are happy to take requests for more specific delivery times, but we are not able to guarantee them. However, we always do our very best to accommodate requests! We do guarantee Delivery orders arrive within your selected delivery window.

      If you are not available at your delivery time we will try to leave your order with a third party if we can (like your doorman, receiving desk, etc.) but if that doesn’t work, your order will be available for pick-up only at the nearest Baked by Melissa store location. This is precious cargo we’re talking about, so we can’t just leave your treats to fend for themselves!

    • Shipping Orders

      Shipping Orders are orders that are shipped nationwide to all 50 states via FedEx, including HI and AK. We’re currently do not ship outside of the U.S., but we may cross borders someday! There is at $20 minimum for shipping orders. At checkout you are able to specify an arrival date up to 28 days in advance. We schedule all our orders to ensure your bite-size treats are never in transit longer than 2 days. All of our orders ship with one of the following options; FedEx Ground, FedEx Home, FedEx Standard Overnight, or FedEx Priority Overnight.

      Shipping Methods

      Standard: Our least expensive shipping option. Ships out with either FedEx Ground, FedEx Home, or FedEx 2 Day. In transit for 1-2 days and will arrive by 8PM on arrival date selected.

      Expedited: Ships out with one of the following options; FedEx Standard Overnight or FedEx Priority Overnight. In transit for one day and will arrive by 8PM on the arrival date selected.

      Priority: Ships out with FedEx Priority Overnight. In transit in for one day and will arrive by 10AM on the arrival date selected in most locations; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in remote areas. To find the arrival time for your location, please visit FedEx.com.

      Saturday: Ships out with either FedEx Home or FedEx Priority Overnight for a Saturday arrival. In transit for one day and will arrive by 8PM on the arrival date selected.

    • Pick Up Orders

      Pick Up orders have a $20 minimum. At pick up, just specify the full name of the recipient. Someone else can pick up for you so long as they know the name of the order and make sure they know what you ordered!

      Running Late? No worries! Your box will be patiently awaiting your arrival. Since you’ve already ordered and paid, you can skip the line and go straight up to the front counter.

    • Packaging & Shipping Perishable Goods

      We've created unique packaging to keep your cupcakes safe and delicious in transit. All of our bite-size treats are baked fresh, sealed and packaged with care. We use recyclable (and also reusable!) styrofoam coolers and ice packs to ensure that our hand-crafted bite-size treats arrive to your door in perfect condition - guaranteed.

      Once your shipping order arrives... open it! Open it! Then jump for joy! Just kidding, but you can do that too. If you can somehow prevent yourself from immediately eating the contents of your box and want to serve your treats later, just take out the individual packs (shrink-wrap optional) and stick em’ in the freezer. Take them out 20-30 minutes prior to serving and enjoy!

    • Arrival Dates

      You can choose your arrival date for Nationwide Shipping, Manhattan Delivery, and In Store Pick Up at checkout. If you’re placing your order in advance and you don’t see the arrival date you want, just give our Customer Happiness Team a call and we’ll be able to assist you (212.842.0220)!

      Because we use FedEx as a third party shipping method, we are not able to guarantee arrival dates and times, but we try really, really hard to make sure it gets to you on time. If you’re planning for special occasions, we recommend choosing an arrival date 1-2 days early (so for weekend events, we recommend arrival on Thursday) so you can be worry-free! Your cupcakes and macarons will stay fresh in-transit for up to 4 days and in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

      FedEx does not require a signature for our packages, which means that your order will be left at the arrival destination as long as the FedEx delivery person feels comfortable doing so. If the first attempt is unsuccessful, a second attempt will be made as soon as FedEx can accommodate it, usually on the following business day.

    • Order Tracking

      Shipping orders: We'll send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. The link should bring you to the FedEx website, and you can watch your treats take their journey. Please allow up to 12 hours after placing your order to see tracking information!

      Delivery orders: We'll send you an email when the order has been delivered.

      Pick up orders: Just head to your selected store and your treats will be waiting at the scheduled time!
