"Make some noise if you're a garlic girl."
You're all making noise with me, right?
I love Lizzo, and that's probably one of my favorite quotes from her. Consider this pasta recipe dedicated to all you garlic lovers out there. With 15 cloves of garlic, you get all the powerful health benefits of the allium and your kitchen will smell incredible. Trust me.
A little tip on getting the perfect bite: cut your broccoli to be the same size as the pasta, so it doesn't overwhelm.

Ingredients
- 13 garlic cloves, minced, plus 2 more for grating (If you’re a garlic girl, you need this)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cups broccoli (about two small heads), chopped
- 2 cups dried cavatelli
- 4 cups vegetable broth (or another of your choice)
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast—this makes it creamy!
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the olive oil. Add the garlic to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the dried pasta to the garlic and stir.
- Add the broth to the pot. Bring to a boil and let the pasta cook for about 5 minutes. Add broccoli to the pot and cover. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, and salt.
- Grate 2 cloves of garlic into the pot and add the lemon juice. Stir to combine. Enjoy!
