tahini chocolate chip cookies

The ingredient your chocolate chip cookies have been missing? Tahini. Sesame paste is often used in Middle Eastern desserts like halva; in these cookies, it adds an extra depth of flavor.

Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

There is never any shortage of tahini in our house. We use it in our salad dressings, serve it as a sauce, and whip up fresh hummus with tahini and chickpeas. Tahini adds an incredible nuttiness to recipes and is naturally packed with rich sesame oil, which makes it the perfect fat to add to a chocolate chip cookie recipe. Finish it with a sprinkle of flaky salt and it's simply *chef’s kiss*.
