tbt to my tomato garden

We’re almost in full tomato season! Gorgeous red tomatoes of all shapes and sizes have been popping up at the farmer’s market. I can’t get enough. Now’s the best time to make simple recipes that highlight nature’s flavors. You don’t need to go crazy to create something truly mouthwatering—all you need is a little olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make a salad you’ll love. Or a spread of mayonnaise on fresh sourdough with THICK tomato slices. There’s more inspo for you below!

  • We’re redoing my kids’ rooms right now—the whole place is chaos. I painted my youngest’s dresser and got these knobs for it and this mirror to go over it. I can’t wait to share more with you!

  • Just restocked my sunscreen—I especially love this mousse and this stick.

  • More GroundUp just arrived, too! I really love the Cinnamon Snickerdoodle. It’s great on a rice cake or to make stuffed dates! Use code MELISSA10 for 10% off your first order.

Tomatoes & Bulgur

The perfect dinner side to add to a bowl later in the week. Add fresh herbs if you’re growing any.

Tomato Tart

With thick slices of tomato, duh.

Easy Tomato Salad

Serve it on toast, with chips, or with pita. I love how simple this recipe is.

Farm Stand Salad

This is one of my favorite recipes from Come Hungry, and now’s the perfect time to make it.
