Maple Tahini Crisp
Rated 5.0 stars by 1 users
As soon as I made this granola, I thought, “What if I used the same delicious mix with Rice Krispies instead?” And this maple tahini crisp was born. It’s light, packed with flavor, and perfect for snacking on. If Rice Krispies treats aren’t your thing, give these a try. (If they are, make these.)
Ingredients
-
½ cup maple syrup
-
⅓ cup tahini
-
1/3 cup olive oil
-
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
-
1 teaspoon vanilla paste
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
5 cups Rice Krispies
Directions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, tahini, olive oil, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Fold in the Rice Krispies and mix gently to cover them completely with the wet ingredients.
- Put the mixture on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
- Let cool completely, then break into smaller pieces to snack on. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
