What to Bake this Weekend

This weekend is perfect for baking. It’s freezing out and the kids have an extra-long weekend. Baking is the perfect activity to occupy their time and keep me sane.

I made brownies for the first time in a long time this week and now feel like I should be making them all the time. They made me remember why I love dessert so much. I used this recipe and highly recommend.

If you want to spend the weekend stocking your freezer with cozy meals for the week ahead, check out my guide to cooking for people you love. It includes 13 nourishing, cozy recipes that freeze perfectly to care for others (including your future self).

  • I shared a long list of things I love on Monday—anything else you’re looking for? Drop it in the comments!

  • I can’t wait to make pancakes on my new griddle.

  • We just got this drink fridge and it’s so great for giving us extra space in the actual fridge (and is apartment-friendly).
