halloween spiders

These spooky spiders are almost too cute to eat—almost.

How to Make Halloween Spiders

My favorite crafts are the kinds you eat (that’s how I fell in love with baking!). But more than that, any craft that welcomes little fingers to help is a win for me, which is why I love these Halloween spiders so much. They only take a few ingredients, don’t make a huge mess, and can occupy my kids for at least a minute or two. Plus, they're just so cute!

What You Need to Make Halloween Spiders

  • 1 pack Double Stuff Oreos
  • 1 bag thin pretzel sticks
  • Candy Eyeballs (these can also be found at most craft stores!)
  • Marshmallow Fluff

How to Make Halloween Spiders

  1. To start, pick out the fattest Oreos you have—the more room you have to poke a pretzel in, the better.
  2. Next, break the pretzels in half as cleanly as you can.
  3. Stick four pretzels into one side of the Oreo, then repeat on the other side to create 8 legs total.
  4. Spread a small amount of marshmallow fluff on the back of an eyeball sprinkle and stick it on the Oreo. Repeat with as many eyeballs as you want.
  5. Repeat until you have a little spider colony. Enjoy as you make them, or decorate a spooky Halloween dessert table with your creations.
